My best interview

When you meet somebody
and you think ‘that’s who I want to be’.

Some people just have it. Nagara (left) entertains the crowd without even trying

I interviewed just about all the exhibitors at Bespoked, and if I missed anybody, I didn’t mean to and apologize for it.

The one I enjoyed the most was Nagara. This guy is a force of nature! He had a miniature trainset set up in his booth, and it was running throughout the show. For the past 15 years he’s made himself one bike a year. The stands the bikes were on matched the bikes.

If you’re thinking of ordering one, forget it. He’s not looking for customers, he was just exhibiting, showing what he does. He brought such great value to the show. His booth was set up in thirds. Bikes, Decor, Personality. He’s a pistol! He’s the guy I wish I could be. He’s right where he wants to be life.
